Shively Bros. of Flint has received two awards from Delphi Corp. for supplier excellence.

The Above and Beyond Award, which was established this year, honors suppliers that have gone beyond the obligations of their contracts for the 2006 calendar year.

The Pinnacle Award was started in 2004 and is given to Delphi’s top suppliers for their contributions to excellence as well as performance in quality, cost and delivery.

The award criteria included meeting expectations for delivery and quality, superior management performance and helping Delphi lower its costs.

Shively Bros., which supplies cutting tools and abrasives, is an employee-owned company that has locations in Flint, Saginaw, and Grand Rapids, plus Sandusky, Ohio and Tonawanda, NY.
